During the E3 event last year, Battlefield Hardline was launched immediately upon its debut. Although the experience was modest, it suggests EA could follow up with another open beta soon. Star Wars Battlefront appears to be in the same line of development, with strong indications they aim to release it before year-end.

I truly wish to try a fresh Battlefront title. I enjoyed the previous ones.

They are definitely going to ensure everything functions properly from the start. Making the games work right away makes perfect sense for them.

I think it's going to be the same for them too. A good test phase is far superior to a disappointing meal.

I purchased the complete C&C pack of all games...generals and Zero Hour didn't function...GG EA! GG.... But seriously...the games aren't launching...Not sure what's going on...the first titles are working just fine. As for Battlefront, I'm hoping so, but I'm skeptical.

These are classic EA games and you might need to adjust Windows settings and admin rights... Exciting news about the Battlefront beta!

It's odd though—Generals and Zero hours aren't quite as outdated as they seem, and the first C&C and Red Alert are running smoothly. Maybe I've heard a lot of good things, so I'm hoping for some gameplay soon.

I dislike eating bad lunches. Sorry, but it was unavoidable. I’m hoping for a better outcome; they looked interested in making hardline a worthwhile purchase. In my opinion, it shouldn’t cost that much and would be around $40.
