I haven't tested it yet, but if it's structured like Star Wars Battlefield (as mentioned in this discussion), it might face problems with long-term success because of weak design decisions.

It seems like the experience is unchanged. I was planning to obtain it, but now it’s not working. Maybe it’s the same engine as Battle Front.

It seems the game is built on Frostbite 3, which also powers Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefield 4, giving it that familiar feel. When I first tried the Star Wars beta last year, I noticed the physics and movement closely resembled Battlefield 4. I downloaded my code after its release but haven’t had time to download it yet.

BF1 stands apart from BF4 yet maintains a similar appearance to Battle Front.

Likely minor adjustments made to the game over time BF4, since it came out three years ago.

I really like Battlefield 1, but I'm unsure about purchasing it when it launches. I strongly dislike EA because they misled me on Battlefront by concealing most of the content behind another paywall. They've done the same with BF1, already having DLC available and hiding it behind a similar barrier. Charging $130 for a game feels unfair. Still, I enjoy it—especially the planes, my 1895 Steyr is mine, and bayonet attacks are always satisfying.

I enjoyed it so far. Performance is top and Weapons feel good. The Explosions are awesome. I hope EA have learned something by now and dont go the Battlefront Road here.

This game really falls short in my opinion. When your team is down, you'll face relentless pressure from sneaky opponents. Most players aim for high kill counts rather than focusing on objectives, just lingering around. I used to enjoy the BF4 MP beta much more. The controls feel sluggish... it's a clunky experience overall. People claim it's easier with a controller, but it's still a FPS. Ideally, keyboard and mouse should be preferred, yet they don't seem that intuitive. Additionally, on my system the beta crashes after a while due to high memory usage. Despite running smoothly on Win 7-64 bit with a GTX 970, I experienced performance issues. Using high settings didn't improve things, and even then it still consumed too much RAM. Some players seem overly competitive, but this game is fundamentally flawed compared to others. The plane physics are terrible, and the aircraft look sluggish in flight—especially the bombers. Vehicles are decent, but the lack of variety makes it feel outdated. All empty servers show high ping, while busy ones have near-zero latency. The beta only offers one map, which is disappointing.

The only thing I enjoy about Battlefield vs Cod is that I’m not as upset as with Cod. I keep getting caught in traps all the time.
