I just set up Zorin OS for fun, but during the Grub installation it didn’t recognize my Windows setup. Now my Windows partition remains, but when I try to boot, I get stuck in Zorin OS without any boot options. Someone, can you help me get back to Windows?

In terminal: run update-grub; if it fails, manually start Windows via BIOS and choose 'Windows Boot Manager'. If unsuccessful, your Windows boot partition might be damaged.

I'll attempt to check for Windows if possible, but I'm not sure about the GRUB setup. If it works, I'll try that command.

I entered the command and it detected Windows 7 presence on both laptops. This version also appears on another machine using Windows 7. The system runs Zorin OS with an SSD and an HDD, and the laptop has two HDD slots. Here’s the log summary:

- Generating grub configuration file
- Theme found: /usr/share/grub/themes/zorin/theme.txt
- Warning about GRUB_TIMEOUT settings
- Linux images identified: vmlinuz, initrd, etc.
- Memtest86+ and Windows 7 image details recorded

Who might favor Windows again? Could the Windows Boot Manager load Linux, whether UEFI or non-UEFI? Will cross-updates function properly?

The Windows Boot Manager is designed for Windows systems and typically cannot start a Linux distribution.
