Hey everyone, I'm really struggling with my new PC and I'm at a loss after spending over a week trying to fix things. I built it myself since I had a working model before, and I followed all the steps carefully—BIOS update, fresh Windows 11 install using the media tool, reinstalled Windows with the old activation key, updated graphics drivers, and even cleaned up old drivers. After that, everything seemed normal until I tried enabling EXPO I in BIOS. Then things got bad: my PC would boot extremely slowly, freeze, or even crash into a BSOD. It only worked fine when I restarted normally, with no freezing or lag.
I checked for issues by disabling USB hubs and changing settings, but nothing helped. I tried removing the AIO pump, adding thermal paste, and running Memtest86 on the DRAM—it didn’t fix anything. I removed the graphics card, reinstalled drivers, and even tried flashing the GPU BIOS, but it still didn’t solve the problem.
I looked at forums and found a solution: disabling certain devices in Device Manager, adjusting BIOS settings, and turning off the High Definition Audio Controller. It worked! But now I’m stuck because when I disable that controller, my NVIDIA audio also shuts down, so I can’t use my monitors. The error code DPC_Watchdog_Violation keeps showing up, which might point to a driver issue.
I’ve tried reinstalling Windows, updating drivers, and even using a different power supply, but nothing changes. I’m worried about hardware—maybe the GPU or motherboard is faulty. I’ve shared all my troubleshooting steps and screenshots, including a video showing the freeze after BIOS changes. If you see any of this in your logs or videos, it might help.
Please let me know if this points to a hardware problem. I’m ready to return any parts under warranty if needed. Take care!
Thank you for your message. I see the driver is already installed since it appears with a (1) at the end of the download.
Turn off the WiFi card and check for crashes. If issues persist, provide the dump files.
