Hey there! It sounds like your PC had some unusual behavior recently. The fans spinning briefly after pressing the power button, followed by a restart, might suggest a power issue or a loose connection. The fact that it starts up with the CPU power cable disconnected could point to a faulty power supply or a bad motherboard component. It doesn’t necessarily mean your CPU or motherboard are completely dead, but it’s worth checking those connections and components carefully.

unplug all fans and rgb around the cpu.. those are usually powered by the CPU too in case any of them are shorted and try again. what did you do with it prior to this happening? we'll need all specs on your system. further i would test it out outside the case.. without anything connected..

When I checked it, it didn’t fit inside the case. Only the PSU CPU and cooler were connected. I repositioned it and reapplied thermal paste to the CPU. Apologies for the details—your specs are an i7 8700 Cooler Hyper 212 MSI Z-370A Pro Antec EAG 750W Corsair 2x16GB Vengeance Msi 6650xt.
