I just got an Asrock B620I lightning motherboard. When trying to link my Meta Quest, it only appears as running 2.0 speeds. I've updated the BIOS, installed drivers (except maybe some hidden ones), removed the USB from the hardware manager and restarted, set the BIOS to support 3.0 ports, but the problem persists. If anyone has suggestions or solutions, please let me know.

Are you linking it to the front panel or the rear?

Which port are you connecting it to specifically? You should use the yellow or blue ports, and the black ones are USB 2.0.

Theres a type C port which to my knowledge and the motherboard manual says is 3.0, along with a blue one beside it and 2 yellow ones, ive tried all of them and none have said it was running at 3.0, only 2.1. https://download.asrock.com/Manual/A620I Lightning WiFi.pdf this is the manual and on page 9 it shows all the ports and all but 2 are 3.2 yes my cable is capable of running at 3.0 speeds

Also connect it quickly, since a design issue could cause it to be mistaken for a USB 2.0 cable if plugged in slowly. There’s no solution available.

What kind of evidence do you need? What issue are you trying to fix? Why would a quicker connection cancel the problem?
