I tend to uninstall programs when they're in use, so I prefer smaller desktop footprints :3

On macOS, I’d stick to just one desktop. Managing several desktops isn’t practical, but I can handle countless open windows.

I don’t rely on Mac (a KDE Plasma user), though I believe I’d fall in between. I organize apps using three activities (Default, Work, Fun) and have two virtual desktops for setup.

It's unusual to have multiple Chrome windows open with many tabs. Have you tried closing some or using a different browser?
