I was playing games on my PC and suddenly it shut down completely, then the blue light appeared. I checked all RAM slots and sticks, but they seem to work only in the third slot. I also tried different motherboards without fixing the issue. Could you assist me? Model: X570e gaming (same issue with B550F gaming Wifi II), GPU: R9 5900X, VRM: RTX 3080.

The issue persists on the new board, so it seems the DRAM controller on your CPU is likely faulty. You might want to check if dual-channel functionality remains available using RAM in the first and third slots.

It doesn't function properly; only one RAM stick in the third slot loads everything else, barely lighting up.

I believe I should return the CPU, as RobChill has a point
