So i dont know how the hell this happened but for for some reason whenever i press shift it opens my calculator app. This is extremely annoying because now i cant sprit in games, nor can i type anything in caps (so i cant sign in to any accounts). Im running windows 11 and cant find anything online that will help

It seems you're referring to a macro configuration. You probably need to maximize its performance.

It should start automatically and run when you begin using it, so find the app in the startup manager and delete it. I’m aware of a few options—AutoHotkey is one, but there are many others. There are also macro viruses that can affect programs like Word or Excel, so consider removing them from startup as well. They might be reinstalled later if needed, but for now you can use “killitwithfire.”

I turned off all settings except Steam on startup. Nothing unusual appeared. The issue persists, but it seems to occur only with the left shift.
