Thank you for your input. Audio tends to cut out from both sides of the headset, usually only on one side. For a quick fix, I unplugged and re-plugged them. Changing the port worked temporarily, but the issue still occurred. I’ve tried different ports before, but this model hasn’t had the same problem with it. The system settings are Windows 10 64-bit, Sennheiser HD 559, Gigabyte Z170X gaming headset, Intel i7-6700K, 16GB RAM, TUF RAM, RTX 2080, EVGA Supernova, PSU, BIOS v23.36, dated March 9, 2018.

Do you possess a 3.5 mm connector? You might attempt connecting it to your device or computer. It seems like a damaged audio cable.

I don’t have any other gadgets with a 3.5 port left, but I might test another headset or use this one on a friend’s computer. It’s interesting they’ve been using it since they first got it, so I didn’t think it was the issue. Appreciate the tip!
