CPU model is Alder Lake i7 12700k, motherboard Asus Rog Strix Z690i. Power supply is Evga 850GM AIO. GPU is Phanteks Glacier One 280. Case is Meshlicious PCIE 4 Riser RAM. Storage includes Crucial P5 1TB M.2 and MX500 2TB. All connections appear secure, fans were off initially. On power-up, the system was silent except for radiator fans and audio LED lights. Possible issues? Start troubleshooting by checking power connections, testing with different PSU if possible, and inspecting for loose components.

I'm not entirely clear on your request. Could you explain what you're experiencing? Are you noticing no boot activity, just fan noise without any other response?

What exactly are you asking? Are other fans not working? Just the radiator fans? Are they connected to power? Is your pump malfunctioning? Does it sound too quiet? To speed up the fans, open the BIOS and adjust the fan curve. The LED on the back of your IO helps with connecting cables; it can be tricky to locate the right port sometimes.

I was attempting to explain that my latest setup isn't starting, and what I notice is just the radiator fans and an audio jack LED on the motherboard back.

Confirm you're looking for the 12700k model, not the KF version. The KF lacks built-in graphics and requires a dedicated card for display. The K and KF models can be easily mixed up.

Verified the CPU is 12700K. No GPU installed yet. Would connecting a PCIe 4.0 slot to the motherboard still be useful?

Remove it from the case and place it on your mainboard box to see if it starts without the case.

I realized I missed attaching the 8-pin CPU power cable again. I’ll plug it in tonight once I’m home and should be fine.

It was the CPU power cable that caused the issue. I managed to boot into BIOS without an operating system installed. I’m wondering if this faint high-pitched noise is coming from the radiator or the motherboard fan, since it seems to originate from the top. I have a video link for reference: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j2y5eulls86gkz...0.MOV?dl=0
