Hello, I notice an unusual problem while playing Minecraft Java. When I start a new world or join an existing one, my frame rate drops to around 10-20 for about 10 seconds, then quickly jumps back up to 200+ and becomes stable. This only happens when I reload all chunks with F3+A, regardless of shaders or whether it's vanilla or modified. It doesn’t matter if I’m using shaders, mods, or the game is on its default settings. My RAM usage varies from 2GB to 10GB, and even small changes in RAM size don’t seem to affect it. The only difference that helps is setting the game as high-priority in Task Manager, which slightly improves performance from 10-20 to 20-30 FPS after a short delay before reaching 200+ again. I haven’t found any information about this issue online. My PC specs are: i5-11400f, RTX 3060, 12GB VRAM, 16GB RAM, running on a 500GB Kingston NVMe SSD.

tested with two settings of 16 and 32 units, also tried various render distances and shadow limits. FPS remained very low until it jumped to 500+ at 16 units, then dropped again to 100+ at 32 units. It's not a major issue but it's quite frustrating.

On my 7950x3D, Minecraft performed better with the non-3D v-cache because of its faster boost clocks. The performance depended on clock speed and IPC, and it was also very memory bandwidth heavy. This issue seems to occur when entering and exiting the Nether.

It occurs just when I start a world, specifically during the initial 5 to 10 seconds, likely due to CPU activity or system-related factors because I overrode Java settings.

Set the Java app to high priority in Task Manager; it runs in just 1–2 seconds and FPS returns to normal.

It's perfectly typical for Minecraft to act this way.
