Hello, your Ethernet connection seems inconsistent, working at 10Mb/s sometimes and not at all on other devices. You might want to replace the cable, as changing speeds on your network interface card isn't always reliable. Unplugging the cable from the router during installation could help ensure proper connection.

It seems the cable might be the issue. When a NIC identifies a damaged cable, it attempts to lower the speed by utilizing only the functional wires to maintain operation.

Swap the entire cable completely—not just replacing a RJ45 jack. If you're testing this, disconnect it entirely to avoid any damage, as even minor voltages could harm your router or switch.

I need to switch Jack, since I don’t want to purchase around 15-20 meters of Cat5e cable with RJ45 already installed and move it across the first floor through the walls.

Confirming connection method—are you using a wall Ethernet jack to link to the router? If yes, skip that step and recheck. This could be the issue.

The long cable stretches from the router to the PC, passing through the walls with gaps instead of ports.
