The details about my PC are as follows: CPU model Ryzen 5 7600x, GPU RTX 3070 MOBO, motherboard MSI PRO SERIES X670P, power supply 650 watts. RAM is Crucial DDR5 5400MHZ with 32GB. The problem is that my RAM only functions in slots 3 and 4. When I try other slots or dual channel setups, no signal appears on the monitor, but fans and lights operate normally. The display shows a yellow warning and a red CPU indicator. I’ve checked forums and found similar issues, but no one has solved it. I watched some YouTube videos suggesting a BIOS setting might be the cause, though resetting the BIOS didn’t fix the issue. I’m seeking help urgently and prefer not to take the board to a repair shop.

Check the manufacturer's warranty details for the motherboard.

I’d consider updating the BIOS and checking the CPU placement. Bad contact in the socket might cause strange RAM behavior, like channels failing to work.

Verify if cooler fits properly or not; both issues matter. Yeah, too loose can lead to overheating, while too tight might cause problems too.

The motherboard remains covered by warranty, and the BIOS appears to be up-to-date. I've repositioned the CPU, but it's still not functioning properly and the cooler isn't sufficiently secured.

It might resemble a motherboard BIOS configuration, but it's improbable given how many times I've reinitialized the BIOS settings.

It’s hard to picture why someone would design a motherboard with those restrictions. Such a feature seems unusual and might indicate a problem. You probably won’t be able to sidestep the warranty issue.

Do you know the cost of fixing it under warranty or if it's possible to have it repaired at no charge?

We’re confident the repair will be covered under warranty with no additional charges. The concern about shipping costs is understandable, but we’ll handle that internally.

You’re seeing a message indicating your CPU supports 2 processors, each with 32-bit architecture, and you have two 16GB DDR5 memory modules installed. This means your system is configured for dual-core performance using faster memory.
