In BIOS and OS (Windows 10) only half the available RAM is recognized. With two 32GB sticks you have 64GB total, but removing one shows only 16GB. I've checked swapping both sticks and testing individual slots, but they still read half the capacity. CMOS cleared and BIOS updated didn<|pad|> to help nothing. What should I try next?

Confirming the storage size and checking the CPU-Z display for the stick details. Please share the screenshot if you need further assistance.

I'm certain it's working properly. The system was functioning at 64GB capacity before the BIOS update, and now it's only accessing half of it.

The part number suggests a 32GB module, but it's only showing as a 16GB unit. It seems both sticks are affected, possibly indicating a problem with the IO die on the CPU. The memory controller might be struggling to access the second rank. Do you have another AM4 CPU for testing?

Interesting fact! I actually have a 2600X. I'm planning to switch now and let you know what happens.

No, you were right in your 1st post, it is a kit of 2x16GB CMW32GX4M2Z3600C18 https://www.corsair.com/us/en/p/memory/c...m2z3600c18 https://www.newegg.com/corsair-vengeance...6820236606 So either CPU-Z is reporting back the wrong part number, or the OP needs to add another zero to the percent sure estimate , or better yet - take out a stick and post a picture.

Do you have the original purchase details? If you bought 32GB only to find 16GB in the incorrect packaging, you should address this issue.

The model name reflects the capacity of the Corsair kit, not the individual modules. To identify the part number and version of your CORSAIR memory, decode it accordingly.
