I’m not sure how to adjust settings manually. I feel a bit overwhelmed by tweaking BIOS parameters. Should I set it to 3000mhz in the XMP options and test it? If it helps, I have four 8GB memory sticks. Running with just two 8GB worked fine at 3200mhz.

You already have XMP2 activated... below it appears DRAM speed information. Update it to 2667mhz. (1333). That's all you have to do. Press F10 to save and let me know if it works.

Yes, including the additional kit can significantly reduce the chances of memory kits running at their advertised speeds. This isn't due to memory issues, but rather the processor's memory controller not supporting it well. It's a minor trade-off—give up a bit of performance for extra memory if you often see "memory low" alerts. Stick with the original configuration at its rated speeds unless you need more memory frequently.

The performance drop would be noticeable, likely causing a significant decrease in frames per second. It’s probably more than just a few FPS loss—it could result in a major impact on gameplay.

Your 2600 likely offers around 5% performance variation based on game, CPU speed, and software use.

I managed to raise it to 3000mhz. I’ll keep boosting the speed gradually until it restarts. Anything better than 2400mhz is necessary.

Just an update on this, in case it can help someone else out. I yanked 16gb of the 32gb out of the PC and it immediately took the 3200mhz xmp profile with no issues. Not sure why it would be like that but I’m going to go with it until I absolutely need 32gb.
