Single core speed stays between 1.5 GHz and 2.5 GHz while running Cinebench R20 under load. System: Ryzen 3 3200G Gigabyte A320-S2H (latest BIOS), 8GB DDR4 3200mhz, GTX 960, freshly installed Windows 10 2004. After updating chipset drivers, Ryzen Master, and running Cinebench R20 for benchmarking, my single-core frequency hovers around 1.5 GHz to 2.5 GHz. It only briefly exceeds 3.0 GHz for a short moment. This behavior is unusual. I turned on High Performance Mode in power settings, refreshed the BIOS, cleared CMOS with default values, but the issue persists. Could you assist? I’m unsure what steps to take next. Ideally, I’d like to run a steady 3.6 GHz without any boost or downclocking.

I'm looking at how to measure frequency. It might be averaging the clocks across all your CPU cores, assuming your multi-core clocks look fine.

Using HWiNFO and Ryzen Master shows normal temperatures—no overheating detected. In fact, they run cooler than usual because the core clock isn’t ramping up unless there’s a multi-core workload.

It's unusual to see this behavior. It might indicate an issue with the CPU or motherboard, possibly related to power delivery under multi-core conditions but not in single-core scenarios.

I haven't encountered this before either. I assumed it was the bios section and changed from F51 to F52 without any issue.

Maybe Ryzen Master isn't displaying per-core speeds. You could have used HWiNFO64 to check.
