Only one fan's speed is managed by the PWM fan hub.
Hey everyone. I purchased Antec fusion fans with a built-in fan/RGB hub. All four are connected and power up, but only one fan (the first one) changes its RPM and shows the speed accurately. The others run at full speed regardless. These fans use 4-pin connectors and fit into a 4-pin cha_fan header, which I’ve confirmed supports PWM. I’ve tested both chassis headers on the board, but the same problem continues. Moving the fan to different slots still doesn’t fix it—BIOS reports 'N/A' for that header. I’ve double-checked all connections and made sure they’re secure, yet nothing works. The C PU/AIO fan is connected to CPU_FAN, while the pump runs on CPU_OPT. I considered switching it to AIO_PUMP, but both seem similar, so I stayed with the original setup. The hub connects to CHA_FAN2 (formerly CHA_FAN1) and is already in PWM mode; there’s no SYS_FAN header available. I changed the source from CPU to the motherboard, but it didn’t help. I’m using an older ROG Strix Z370-E system, which is less powerful than my main rig. Here’s a diagram from the manual illustrating all fan inputs.
