Only half of the 16GB RAM I installed is functioning. The task manager indicates it's reserved for hardware. Useful note: RAM model Patriot Viper 16GB, 3200 MHz, motherboard M.S.I. B450M PRO, VDH max OS Windows 10. I've already removed the CMOS and verified both RAM modules work.

Hardware Reserved is commonly seen as either a faulty stick/slot or an iGPU taking over system RAM.

I can't confirm 100% accuracy, but I think the BIOS wouldn't list the RAM as free even if it's full. It might show the slot is taken, which removes another potential reason.

Replace the sticks once more, making sure they fit properly and are securely positioned

I started the computer using just one stick, then rearranged them and everything functioned correctly. It seems a new motherboard might be necessary.

They're placed accurately in the designated slots, isn't it? Usually you wouldn't immediately point fingers at the motherboard just yet.
