I've checked every LAN port, but I'll need an extra 3m of cable. It looks like I'll have to purchase a new one, probably Cat6.

your router has minimal capabilities, so you can only manage firewall settings and port configurations. The nearest option is:

Yeah, by that you're limited to 100 on the ports by the looks of it. Nothing in the setup to change? if not you might have to get a new router.

I located the issue—it was the cable. I moved the tower to the living room for a short visit and tried another 5e cable I own. It was initially 1.0Gbps, with 200MB download and 100MB upload speeds. I plan to purchase a Cat6, possibly indicating the cable is faulty... Thanks to everyone who assisted!

Today the same connection performed at 1.0Gbps, what a surprise! Fingers crossed it stays stable.

It likely contains a subtle change in the title that introduced unwanted interference. Adjusting its position could have resolved the issue. For better results, consider purchasing Cat 6 or higher for connections exceeding 2 or 3 meters. Typically, the cost remains similar and the cables are of superior quality. Not every cable is the same—cheap Cat5e wires often perform poorly, causing signal loss and dropping speeds to as low as 100MBps, just like you observed.

Sure, I adjusted the cable. My connection is around 10 meters long, and it's from my ISP. I'm planning to get a Cat6 cable soon. Thanks!
