The topic is clear, thanks for the update. I attempted several changes: swapped RAM, updated BIOS, refreshed Windows, installed new drivers, turned off memory limits in msconfig, enabled memory remapping (though not available in BIOS), reinstalled the PC. Before updating BIOS, the system had 3.98 GB usable, now it's 4 GB. My motherboard is ASRock N68-GS4, the graphics card is AMD Radeon R7 360, CPU is AMD FX-4320. I also added two 4 GB RAM sticks.

FX-chips seem a bit odd here. Usually, if everything stays on auto, just let it run. There are some BIOS settings about mixing channels and banks, but I can't confirm.

The issue lies in the hardware allocation. Running with just one drive can affect performance. If you boot using only one stick, does the system allocate 2GB to hardware reserved or does it completely disable it?

I initially removed one of the two sticks, but my PC didn't boot and displayed only a black screen. After reinserting it, I removed the other stick and it started working normally. I'll share the screenshots now.

Are the sticks a complete set? This indicates one may not fit, is defective, or the slot is broken. Have you tested the stick that works in both slots?

Yes, it's a compatible set, and the RAM that functions in both slots means I should replace it.

Yes, one of those sticks has broken. For a budget, you can purchase another 4GB stick. Aim for one that matches the previous model in speed and timing. Alternatively, if you can afford it, buy a new kit and keep the working stick as a backup.
