The My Passport Ultra HDD isn’t showing up in Explorer on Windows 10/11, but it appears in DiskPart and Disk Management via CMD. No letter is assigned, and you can’t change the letter in Disk Management. The owner says it works normally, though it might be a random issue. This is the first time I’ve dealt with an external HDD in data recovery. Any suggestions on how to proceed? Reference: Disk 7

Does it contain information? The display is indicating missing data.

I believe there should be data available. It seems the user might have misformatted it. I’ll create a copy of the disk to examine later, keeping in mind this approach won’t go too deep unless needed. If unclear, I’ll limit recovery efforts in our workflow.

Click the partition with the right-click button and choose assign drive letter. Be aware that if you intend to restore data, consider pausing this step until recovery utilities are applied.

Thank you for your response. Unfortunately, the attempt didn't work. Since I don't have time or expertise to proceed further, I've reached the end of this task. I hope you can find more information later.
