I removed a 6TB HDD that was functioning properly while I worked and installed it, but when I took it out again and reinstalled the 6TB, it appeared correctly.

What motivates these actions? Could the nonfunctioning drive have a feature turned off? (Search WD power disable online). This might clarify why it fails on a PC but succeeds in a case. If so, it’s likely a simple fix.

This was the correct response. I hadn't realized it was important. I recall hearing about it a long time ago. I used the video to resolve the problem.
