Only extend router, not connect to it.
Your extender stays linked to the OneMesh router, which keeps coverage but not optimal inside the room. To switch automatically when entering the room, you can set up a simple automation or use a smart home device that detects your location. Adjusting the network settings or using a motion sensor could help trigger the change seamlessly.
I also replaced the OneMesh extender with a Deco. Everything functions smoothly now.
