Hello everyone, observed a significant power consumption of about 203 watts on my 5070ti during Cyberpunk and even lower in certain titles (like Ready or Not at around 180w). This appears to draw less power than typical benchmarks under the same conditions. Uncertain if the issue lies with the power supply or the motherboard, since my CPU, the 7600x, consistently reaches a normal maximum of 108 watts. It doesn’t seem the GPU is the problem—similar concerns arose when the system had a 9070xt. Curious if this is just a worry or within expected ranges. Here are the specifications:
Specs: MSI SHADOW GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Ryzen 5 7600x ASUS B650M-A Prime AX II Motherboard G.Skill 16GB DDR5 6000 Ram XPG CORE Reactor II VE 750W, Black, 80 Plus Gold PSU

That suggests your 7600x isn't reaching its full potential at 108W during gaming, likely because the CPU is limiting performance.

seems fine, gpu utilization goes up to 99% when it's supposed to (except in marvel rivals). A little hard to tell when all the benchmarks use cpus way better then mine.

The GPU remains at 99% usage even when it's fully loaded, indicating high demand or intensive processing tasks.

All the reviews you checked indicate better power consumption from the CPU compared to others, suggesting it's operating at full capacity. It seems you're in an exceptional range where GPU and CPU usage are nearly balanced. Could you provide some screenshots of your usage? That would help confirm if there are any problems.

It's common for 5000 series models to consume minimal power at their peak performance. The idea is that reduced energy use means improved efficiency.

The issue is that the 5070 ti should perform closer to 300w at full intensity in games, rather than 200w.

the riva tuner can't identify my gpu due to some issue after turning off igpu. tracking power consumption and usage is tricky, especially with the open hardware monitor. it showed about half gpu use and a bit over half cpu during inzoi. i'm still on 1080p since i'm hoping for a better 1440p deal at prime day.

The system is likely CPU-intensive. Most 1080p titles won’t need a 5070 Ti. A 7600x display won’t provide enough frames. To increase power consumption, lower the resolution to 4K.
