Hey, I see you're facing some issues with your system. Let's break it down. Your specs look solid—Ryzen 9 7950X, 32GB DDR4, Expo 1000W PSU, and Seasonic power supply. But the problem seems to be with how software interprets your CPU. You mentioned updating drivers, chipset, and BIOS, yet your CPU only shows as an 8-core, 16-thread model in all apps. Afterburner isn't displaying core clocks, HWMonitor only shows 7 cores, and Expo is off with auto SMT. It's frustrating to figure out what to do next. Feel free to share more details or let me know if you want guidance on troubleshooting steps. Thanks!

Additionally, it's a simple error to overlook.

One of the CCD dies was likely turned off in the BIOS. Verify if a BIOS update is available.

Hey there, I tried updating to the new 0805 BIOS but didn’t see any changes. Where can I locate the disabled cores in the BIOS settings? Thanks for your help!

On my ASUS B550, the settings are set to Advanced CPU configuration with core leveling mode enabled.

I believe I've located it, and it's there too.

I suspect there might be an issue with the chip. I plan to test it using a Cinibench R23 multicore to check if the results match expectations.

The task manager lists it as an 8-core processor.
