This PC starts up directly from BIOS, but you can still access the boot drive in BIOS and Windows functions work well. Please verify the boot sequence. Appreciate the help!

Yes, that's correct. Start the PC and ensure it recognizes the boot drive even when set as the first one. Then, in BIOS, choose the option to boot from another drive and confirm it loads properly. First two steps are essential.
