It’s questionable whether purchasing 4x4GB DDR2 is worthwhile. You might find a reasonably priced I5 LGA1150/LGA1155 board or an entire FM2 system at a lower cost.

I attempted to use AMD-only DDR3 RAM with an Intel system—it failed. Avoid risking this setup; LGA775 technology is outdated and not a good investment. Consider upgrading to a Ryzen processor instead.
