Hi, a new thread, a new issue. CPU: Ryzen 7 5700x MOBO: B450 ASUS TUF PRO GAMING GPU: RX 9070 XT The RAM in question is the Corsair Vengeance PRO RGB 2x16GB 3600Mhz CL18. After I cleared the CMOS the bios shows a single D.O.C.P. (XMP) profile, for 3200Mhz at CL22 and 1.2V. What am I supposed to do? I have the latest BIOS and Chipset driver version. The board is rated for up to 4000Mhz of 128GB DDR4 RAM. Thanks in advance EDIT: Forgot to add that when I put in this profile and manually set the DRAM frequency at 3600Mhz the PC boots up just fine, CPU-Z shows the max frequency at 3200Mhz though (task manager shows 3600MT/s)...

CPU-Z records display only the DOCP configuration active and DRAM speed set manually to 3600 MHz according to the BIOS. System monitors verify RAM operates at that frequency.

The 1800 MHz clock speed translates to a processing rate of 3600 MT/s, which appears adequate.

It does have that effect. The DOCP is 3200Mhz CL22, which suggests a higher speed than the RAM supports. RAM is labeled for CL18, so running at 3600CL22 makes sense. CPU-Z lists the max speed as 3200Mhz even though it's actually hitting 3600, likely due to measurement differences. The voltage reading of 1.2V seems low compared to the expected 1.35V, which could be a discrepancy in the measurement or settings.

This link details the Crucial Pro 16GB DDR4-3200 UDIMM module. The information indicates a rated speed of 3200 MT/s with CL 22, not the 3600 MT/s CL 18 you expected.

Spoiler The part number of your RAM doesn't match what you say it is. Are you certain you're thinking of the correct RAM kit? Were these purchased used? You may have been scammed. The part number is for Crucial Pro DDR4-3200 , which lines up exactly with what it's reporting as JEDEC/XMP profiles.

The Crucial Pro kits lack XMP support, meaning they only let you configure a profile that matches the JEDEC standard.

What is this? It seems quite unusual, take a look at it.

Verify the CPU-Z part number. CP16G4DFRA32A.M16FE indicates a 3200MHz model. How many RAM sticks are you planning to install? If you're using four sticks with varying speeds, it may force them all down to 3200MHz.
