I've noticed creators like Jayztwocents testing the R9 280 graphics card. In a battlefield setting they achieved 80 FPS on high settings, but I only see around 40 max. I have no idea why this is happening. My setup includes an FX-6300 processor, R9 280 GPU, 8 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3 motherboard.

Absolutely, 40 frames per second isn't that slow—20 FPS would definitely be on the lower side.

50fps is the sweet spot for Mayne. Try some testing.

For me, ten feels too low. Twenty remains manageable.

I guess it's subjective, depends on what you're used to. I would honestly consider 20 still playable as well, 10 would be too choppy.

Upgrading to a 4690k would boost performance by roughly 10%, varying by game. On medium-high settings with over 60fps it works well, but for ultra or 1440p players the slight drop matters more.
