I just completed a BIOS update and tried adjusting XMP settings. It seems that with XMP enabled, only one RAM stick is being utilized (16GB), whereas without it, both sticks are working (32GB). Is there a solution to resolve this issue?

Replace the faulty component. It isn't functioning properly at XMP speed. Consider reducing the speed slightly—like 200MHz for DDR4 or 400 for DDR5.

Issues with your RAM controller are common, often causing clock instability that can affect memory performance. Lowering the clock speeds may help bring things back under control.

However, the entire 16GB isn't being reduced in clocks.

It cannot merely adjust XMP, either by lowering clocks or increasing voltage.
