They use DDR3. "Hardware reserved" problems can happen when the modules aren't seated properly. Swapping them out (pulling and reinserting) usually resolves the issue. Just try reinserting them and check if 16 GB is free now.

I'm testing with one stick at a time. One stick provides 4GB RAM while 2.1MB is reserved; other sticks are still being determined.

Typically I find them around 512 MB, possibly up to 1 GB. It seems APUs might exceed that size, but the fact that 2.1 MB is reserved with 4 GB indicates either no iGPU is available or it’s already disabled.

With three sticks in three slots I receive 12GB, and the maximum reserved is 413MB per hour. I plan to test using all sticks.
