Hello, I just moved to Windows 11 and need to get Valorant running again, which needs Secure Boot enabled. I tried turning it on in the BIOS but ended up with a black screen. The fans spin but the CPU fan stops and then restarts. When I turn on the debug LEDs on the motherboard, the DRAM lights up briefly, the GPU flashes for a moment, and the CPU briefly lights up before everything resets. There’s also no power to my keyboard or mouse. This seems to be a common issue with Gigabyte boards, but no fix has worked yet. I’ve tried removing the CMOS battery for a while to reset the BIOS, using a bridged CMOS reset pin, and holding the power button until the PC powers on and off. Still nothing. My system specs are: AMD Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 3050, Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite V2, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB SSD. If anyone has suggestions, I’d really appreciate it.

CSM might be required for compatibility, though resizable bar functionality will be removed. Even though I’m not sure you need SB to run Valorant, I’d turn it off and test to check for issues.

None of the parts OP needs. CSM is only needed when your graphics card doesn’t have UEFI GOP in its vbios. You can’t just turn on Secure boot if you’re using a legacy installation.

You're experiencing a black screen during startup, preventing access to the BIOS or any signals. This could indicate hardware issues or power problems. Consider checking connections, testing the power supply, and ensuring the system boots from an external source if possible.

It's tricky to gauge the situation now. You mentioned it might be W11, possibly updated to a GPT format, which could simplify things.

Apologies for the unclear details. I’ve been using Windows 11 for about three to four weeks without any problems. A friend reached out because they wanted to play Valorant, so I tried launching the game but it prompted me to turn on secure boot, which caused it to close and stop functioning. I accessed the BIOS and enabled secure boot, but after that, everything stopped working—no display signal, no power to the keyboard or mouse.
