I felt the same way then—I turned off Vsync in the game and checked the Nvidia panel (just to confirm). Suddenly, it was smooth at 170fps. It’s strange how Vsync affected things; with it on, I sometimes dropped below 60fps, but now I’m stable.

Turn off V-sync even for a 60Hz display. It’s best to maintain it or apply a frame limiter to stay at 60fps.
