It might be due to your router or switch limitations, not just the card itself. Check if your device supports the speed you're seeing and ensure your hardware can handle it.

Exactly. The change is giving her everything she has, but she doesn’t have any left to offer. Connecting to a 2.5G switch port will provide a 2.5G connection.

The slowest connection in a network sets the overall speed. If your router only supports up to 1 Gbps, then using a card that tries to communicate at 2.5 Gbps doesn't make sense.
