I also checked the advanced section in the BIOS, but it seems there isn’t any option related to restricting RAM.

Consider running MSConfig once more to adjust the maximum memory settings. Your system didn’t start properly after making these changes, and you ended up reinstalling the OS due to the issue.

The CPU diagnostic indicator is illuminated. It doesn’t matter which slots are selected; the board will operate in either single or dual channel mode. I can recreate this setup and install the small diagnostic speaker. Please note the CPU error fault is confirmed. Count the beeps as requested.
