If the perks of being a paid member exceed what cosmetics offer and provide faster access (meaning more benefits than just early access), then I’ll quit playing.

Just a regular player. Dropped a bunch of paid users on PlanetSide 2 for free.

This topic isn’t going to be a full discussion, but it’s why I’m one of the rare fans not excited about Star Citizen. It seems impressive, and I enjoy combat space simulations, yet it feels like another Eve Online experience. High-priced ships restrict the game to only those with significant funds. Those who can only spend around $50 would struggle to enjoy it, as they’d constantly face losses against players who can afford hundreds or thousands.

I feel your frustration, similar to The Hunter in Steam. It offers a realistic hunting experience and free-to-play access, but early on it’s enjoyable. However, as you progress, you’ll need more advanced weapons purchased with real money. Those aren’t just basic upgrades—they’re often priced high (over 150), and buying them is essential for deeper gameplay. If you skip them, you’re limited to hunting rabbits only. It seems the game’s value shifts from free play to spending money for better options.

He is disrespecting the person from Rorgash because they attacked him without a valid reason, except that Rorgash didn't grasp the OP's message properly.
