I've always relied on a 5.1 speaker setup for gaming, but I really enjoyed PUBG from 2017 to 2019. It was essential to use a microphone to perform well, making it the only game I've used a headset for. I also met some interesting people while playing.
I miss that experience.
I'm searching for games with a similar atmosphere—where many players use microphones and you can enjoy good humor during gameplay.
I've heard positive feedback about Rust and Lethal Company.
Are there any other recommendations?

I boosted the player base on Steam thanks to CSGO competitive mode, though I played it back in 2012. Things might be different now, but then the more ranked you were, the more intense the reactions were. Also, ARMA3 and SQUAD are excellent for micro-management, but you could end up with either a group of people just laughing or a bunch of angry fake veterans pretending to be serious.

If you find one let me know. Honestly if I do any multiplayer on line its with the same group of guys + family.
My oldest son just got back on the PS-5 multiplayer and same old same old to cut throat for me.
My youngest is playing a anime something MMO on PC and so much more human between players.
