Many users on Windows 10 are aware of Microsoft’s push to log into their accounts, but I personally prefer keeping my privacy intact. This app, Onedrive, has become quite bothersome. When my device powers off, disconnects from the network, or restarts, it repeatedly displays a warning about missing internet access. I’m not interested in whether it actually connects or not—I don’t use it at all. Is there a method to turn it off or remove it so these alerts disappear? Also, it occasionally reminds me to sign in even when online, which is quite bothersome. Simply shutting it down doesn’t solve the issue after a restart.

It's possible to remove it from "Apps and Features." If it starts automatically, you can turn it off using Task Manager.

Wow, really! I didn’t even realize it was possible because it’s a Microsoft preinstalled app. Thanks for sharing the details!

the registry entry exists to delete it from Windows Explorer too... The location and the value you set are correct. I noted it in my notes, but double-checking via a search confirms its accuracy. This key isn't easily understood at first glance, so it's safe to remove it.
