I checked forums but didn’t find a match for my issue. Recently, I’m having trouble finishing campaigns in Assassin's Creed Valhalla and Cold War, getting crashes even after 18 hours of setup on Acrid. The problem seems to be with the software, not hardware—I spent a lot of time installing Windows on an NVMe drive and using Uplay, and everything worked fine then. Now I’m trying to keep both my SSD and hard drive connected but always booting from one without checking BIOS. I’m unsure why the SSD is causing issues, but I want a clean Windows install just for gaming with these problems. Anyone have advice?

Typically, every motherboard features a "show boot menu/options" button that lets you pick the device to start from right away, bypassing the need to adjust settings in the BIOS.

Looking for tips on dual booting Windows 10 would help, but trying to find that information online might boost your chances

For Asus, use F12. For MSI, press F12. For ASRock, it might be F11 or F12; I'm not sure about Gigabyte.
