While installing the 4+4 cables, I noticed that only the left cable matched the “ATX 2” on the left side, while the other didn’t fit the “ATX 3” on the right. Inserting it halfway worked, but it didn’t go down as smoothly as the first one. I’m wondering if I need to apply more force? My previous PSU had no such issue.

The Acer board requires a specific custom power supply. Connect the 6-pin connector on the right side (between the two gray inductors labeled 2R2) and the two 4-pin power connectors. The pin configuration of the 4-pin connectors might differ from standard ATX supplies, so using an incorrect adapter could harm the board. If you attempt to use a standard ATX power supply without a matching cable, it will not function properly.
