Great point. <_< When a game includes microtransactions, it's important to remain cautious—they may push you toward purchases, verbally or through progression balancing. Ignoring them doesn't excuse the practice.

It's also a business plan. If it doesn't generate revenue (which is quite uncertain), it might not make it to the next major release. Microtransactions in games appear to be becoming more common, and I don't mind their presence or absence.
