regardless of the game, it remains enjoyable and you can obtain nearly anything by participating in it.

It's okay as long as they let you play through a level or something. In reality, most games come with extra paid content. Honestly, I don't hold them too much responsibility—games used to cost less back then. If one fails, it could hurt the company financially. You have another choice when purchasing: use it however you like, and if you enjoy it, help the developers by supporting them.

It doesn’t improve anything. I also get that some folks need more cash. But that’s what they get via DLC or expansion packs. Easy as that. Also, just because it’s the standard doesn’t mean it’s fair. Check out this video from one of my top YouTube channels:
