Right yeah, big update: The developer figured it out and said they blame the Intel Network drivers. They told me to install the latest one, but that didn't work for me. Instead, I unplugged my ethernet cable and used WiFi instead of it. That fixed the disconnect problem, so now I can turn off or restart the PC after playing. Guess this will be how I start the game from now on. So... I think this is just a self-fix, but thanks to you for trying your best to help me. It was really weird though. I hope it gets fixed eventually!
