Initially, my configuration includes an Intel i5 6600k skylake OC at 4.1Ghz (using Gigabyte easytune’s OC settings). I have a Gigabyte GA-Z170x Gaming 7 Rev.1001, Viper 2x8GB DDR4 at 3200mhz (default is 2133mhz), a Samsung 250gb SSD, an EVGA GTX 960 with 4GB VRAM in SLI mode, a Coolmax 700 PSU, and an Asus optical drive. The issue arises when attempting to apply the XMP profile for the RAM that comes with the BIOS, which is set to 3200mhz. After enabling it and restarting, I encounter a boot error stating it cannot boot. I have tried using Gigabyte Easy Tune at all speeds above 2133mhz, but it doesn’t resolve the problem. It seems there might be a conflict in the settings. Heat levels are normal under full load (CPU and memory stay around mid 30s°C), so power usage for the extra 0.13V isn’t the main concern. I’m unsure why this is happening and would appreciate your guidance.

Thanks,
Austin

Fixed it, sorry. Used the new beta version 8b and removed easy tune.
