On the network Everything is connected
The setup involves an Ethernet cable running beneath your home from the back to the front router. The network devices I’m purchasing have two LAN ports: one connects the front router and NAs (not shown in the diagram), while the other connects the back router and NAs. I’m avoiding running a second Ethernet cable through the house since the first one was professionally installed, and instead using a 1-2 splitter. The diagram explains how it should work. With this configuration, you only need one cable instead of two. Since there’s already a cable present, will the NAs on the back routers connect properly?
You can't rely solely on Ethernet splitters; switches are necessary. With several LAN ports, connect the router to one LAN port on a router, then link the other LAN ports between those routers via a cable. Simply plug the switch into one router's LAN port and you're set.
Yes, that looks correct. Should everything be on the same network range, like 192.168.1.x, for seamless communication.
Verify the IP addresses of the clients to ensure they share the same subnet.
