I’m preparing to switch from a 3200G to a 3600 but only have an MSI A320 A-Pro. I looked at their site and thought it supports the 3000 series, but I wanted to confirm compatibility just in case. https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-A-PRO

I don’t expect you to go overclocking. Besides that, your motherboard should work well with the 3600.

Confirm functionality at 3600 Hz. As discussed earlier, verify that your BIOS is updated to a current version prior to use.

The 3200G (Zen+) differs from the 3600 (Zen 2) in architecture, so a BIOS update was suggested by @Iloveunisuj.
