Your budget is under 1600 dollars.
The notebook size you're thinking of is between 15-16 inches.
You prefer a 2K OLED screen resolution.
You’re not sure if you need a portable or desktop laptop.
You require a reasonable battery life, nothing too extreme.
You’d like to play games on your laptop occasionally.
Yes, but only moderately.
If yes, please specify the games and their desired settings (Low, Medium, High).
I’m unsure about League of Legends, but I’m considering other titles.
Other tasks you want to perform include photo/video editing, reading, and graphic design.
You need a hard drive with at least 1TB capacity.
If you plan to buy from certain sites, share the links.
Considering options, Acer Helios 16 seems promising.
You’re not planning to keep your laptop for more than four years.
Tell us about brands you prefer and those you dislike, along with reasons.
I’m comparing less expensive Lenovo 5 Gen 10 AMD 5060 OLED models around $1100 and Intel versions up to about $1500.
Your country is the USA.
Add any extra details if necessary.
In short, the Acer Helios looks appealing but I’m hesitant to spend that much. Is the 5070 Ti really significantly better than the 5060 in cheaper Lenovo models? Also, I know Lenovo has a 5070 Ti OLED model priced near $2000, and unless someone convinces me or explains why $2000 is justified for a laptop, it doesn’t seem worth it. What are your thoughts on the Legion and Legion Pro 5i 5060?
Thank you.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Is the 5070ti really that much better than the 5060?
Yes. The RTX 5070 Ti is a higher tier mobile platform GPU compared to the RTX 5060, giving you the chance to run almost all games at high settings, perhaps even a bit more.
I know Lenovo has a 5070 ti oled laptop but it's closer to $2k.
From my search:
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptop......g4QVW7BwJs
More around $2,500.
To be honest, you're actually getting what you pay for. The hardware quality and build feel are definitely better.

The Acer Helios appears to offer better value for the price?
https://www.bestbuy.com/product/ace...rt...JJ8V8H38XT
It clearly outperforms the Lenovo 5?
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptop......83m00002us
Are you concerned about the Lenovo offering? They also provide a Lenovo 5i with an Intel processor compared to the AMD CPU version linked here.
I’m trying to figure this out and decide whether the Acer or the 2.5k Lenovo is worth the investment, given I only have a limited budget and worry it might not last 2-4 years before overheating constantly.
Edit:
Additionally, there are two Lenovo Legion models with the 5070 Ti: one with 16GB of VRAM offering a faster rating, and another with 32GB of VRAM but a slower rating?
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptop......ucto1wwus1
The one you mentioned
And this model under $2k
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptop......83lu0007us
How do these options compare?
https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/p/laptops/l...83f10002us
What are the specifications and performance of these models?
