I played Dust 2 and a few players could match what I was doing, they had some experience beyond mine. It was mostly just a single game, though they were tougher to beat and often the last ones standing. I was competitive with them.

The original version stood out more than the updated one. It was significantly more challenging, especially for someone new to the scene. I understand why others prefer 1.6—it’s a solid title, and I’d prefer it if the developers addressed the issues that bother me. While I appreciate CS:GO, there are several aspects that make it less enjoyable for me.

The main reasons I dislike GO include:
1. The competitive ranking system feels overly serious and defensive, with people clinging to their positions out of fear of being overtaken.
2. The removal of skill-based mechanics from earlier titles, like the decline of aggressive AWPing, makes the game feel less dynamic.
3. Poor netcode performance in competitive settings, which creates an unfair advantage for players with faster connections.
4. The shift to 64 tick gameplay, which changes the balance of tactics and requires a different style of play.

Others often point out these flaws, especially regarding the toxic behavior and outdated mechanics that clash with modern expectations. Many prefer older versions where the game was more balanced and fun, even if it lacked some of the flashy features.

This game stands out unlike anything else. You miss the complete experience unless you play it when the industry was different. It leans heavily on nostalgia.

For better results, avoid playing Dust 2 if you're looking for skilled opponents.

Or illusion, or fire. Also skip the game, it's just a bunch of smurfs. Avoid the overpass, it's all smurfs too. Don't play cache, it's cheating. In short: the matchmaking isn't working.

I don't really have many issues with CSGO match creation...most of the time.

It seems you're expressing frustration about people who are difficult to play with. It appears some individuals struggle with the game, and you're considering extreme measures if you could.
