Old Ram sticks aren't functioning properly.
Hi there, I just upgraded my PC by adding two 2x4GB DDR4 RAM sticks to the existing 2x4GB sticks. Both kits are identical and use the same 2400 MHz RAM. After unplugging the machine, I installed the new sticks one by one and they worked fine. When I swapped them out one at a time with the old ones, nothing happened. Eventually, I reinstalled both sets and still had no issues. I noticed the EZ debug light on my B450-A Pro Mx MSI motherboard would flash when the new sticks were in place but disappeared once the old ones were removed. Everything seems normal now, though I’m still unsure if the new RAM is faulty or if there’s something else I missed. Would you mind checking if the sticks are properly seated and if the slots are clean? Thanks for your help!
Remove the old sticks, set the new sticks in their position, and check for a boot.
